Day 2a (Madrid ✈️ Bogota)

The tension and excitement from Day 1 quickly faded: the 10-hour flight from Madrid to Bogota was very relaxed and calm.

After a culinary masterpiece of a dinner with a top-notch wine, superb service, and a current film from the extensive in-flight library, I actually slept wonderfully until just before landing 😴

The individual cabins in Business Class were excellent - when reclined, the seat even turned into a bed! 🛌😬.

One hour before landing (03:30 local time), I was woken up with an equally good breakfast. I actually only noticed the landing upon touching down 😂

But then, after landing, came another problem: my German SIM card did not work. 🙄🥴

So I quickly went and bought a Colombian SIM - finally back online 🤪
