After a good week in Australia, the first stop was in a larger city. Since the weather forecast for Brisbane wasn't particularly good, we took a little more time and paid a visit to the coastal town of “Rainbow Beach”.
The “Carlo Sand Blow” is listed as a top attraction there, a huge sand dune on a cliff and a great view of the bay.
The sun had already warmed up the sand, but luckily we were early and were able to walk up to the cliff and watch some paragliders.
Unfortunately, an attempt at sandboarding failed miserably and we headed to the small town.
Since the weather was still excellent, we went to the beach again to chill and swim before Brisbane greeted us with rain after a two-hour drive.
