Christmas

On the 24th of December, we celebrated John's birthday and had a big chocolate cake. On the morning of the 25th, the whole family sat around the Christmas tree and everyone unwrapped their Christmas gifts with their pocket knives. Otherwise, not much happened over Christmas... we also took a little vacation. We only watched a few Christmas movies and lots of action movies :)

Yesterday, John and I went sledding, but only on a small hill in the horse pasture. It was complicated though, because there were so many trees, bushes, tree stumps, and rocks in the way, and we ended up hopping from one bump to the next instead of actually sledding. Plus, there wasn't even much snow on the slope because the wind blew it somewhere else. But it was still a lot of fun. This morning, we installed several smaller cages in the sheep barn so that each sheep has its own box.
