No balloons over Bagan

We are going to Bagan from Mandalay by minibus 🚌↗️🏞🇲🇲. The transfer by taxi from the hotel is comfortable as a friendly acquaintance of Jojo brings us and wants to talk about German football. It seems to have a high value in Myanmar! 

The condition of the roads leaves much to be desired... So distances of about 250 km become a full-day program. 

Arrival at the Thante Hotel in this surprisingly comfortable area holds a disappointment for us right away. With a refreshing ice cream at the reception, the staff informs us that '... the pool is currently being renovated', and therefore there is construction noise instead of a cool down.

On the first evening, we go to a good restaurant to try typical Myanmar cuisine, which leads to problems for Adri...

So on the second morning, I go jogging alone through the history of Bagan, at about 30 °C 😥
