The countdown is on

Hello everyone,

I'm back again. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but not much has happened lately. I've been working diligently, both during the week and on the weekends, and I've been attending my self-defense course. I still enjoy it a lot and I'm always learning something new.

On Sunday (16.07) we all prepared a roast together with all the roommates and spent a lovely evening with delicious food, mulled wine, and a game. The game is called Cards Against Humanity and it's a lot of fun.

Other than that, it has been raining heavily here in the last couple of days, causing the river to overflow. What you can do in Germany, we can do too. Justice for all... But I could have done without having to work in the pouring rain. In the past few weeks, I have been working with new people again and have been given a new task. I was responsible for driving from one bed to another, collecting garbage, sometimes pruning, and weeding. Doesn't sound very exciting, and it's not, but I get to see some nice corners of Christchurch.

Other than that, I am preparing for my departure. The traveling starts on Sunday. Hopefully, there will be more to report and more photos to admire soon. Today, I have planned to get my car ready for the inspection. Fingers crossed and, otherwise, I'll be packing and doing fun stuff like that.
