0302: Oulu

The arrival in Oulu on 03.02. in the early evening was already an experience. For European standards, it was cold in the evening with -18 degrees, and the evening walk showed that these temperatures can certainly be challenging for us when we are outside for a longer time. The hands become icy cold in a few minutes, the breath freezes on the eyebrows and on the jacket. A good hat helps a lot. But the not-so-surprising thing is: life in Finland also takes place at these temperatures; but in the evening, life seems to happen more inside than outside.

The Airbnb is very centrally located, on the 5th floor and equipped with a sauna, kitchen, and bedroom. The nearest shopping center is only a few minutes' walk away.
