The Bean & Navy Pier

Last Sunday I went downtown with a good friend, which was the last time for her. We went to the Bean or the Cloud Gate, which is one of the attractions in Chicago. After that, we walked along the water to Navy Pier one last time, sat down there and simply enjoyed the view. It was quite an emotional day for us, as we have become really good friends in the past six months. We lived maybe eight minutes' drive away from each other here, which is three hours in Germany. It will be really strange that we can't meet spontaneously for two hours in the morning anymore. Or that we say on Saturday morning, do you feel like going downtown. It will all be really strange, but we will definitely stay in touch in Germany.
