The streets in the Old Quarter of Hanoi are very narrow. As in Ho Chi Minh, mopeds park on the sidewalk, people go back and forth, and there are countless street vendors and honking mopeds in between. Loud music can be heard from the shops. As we later learned, the emission values are not the best, which is why almost everyone here is equipped with a mask.
Everything is transported on mopeds, 5-member families (2 adults and 3 children), animals, flowers, cardboard, etc.
The day we arrived, the atmosphere in Hanoi was a bit more special than usual because the final of the Asian Football Champions League took place in Hanoi in the evening - Vietnam against Malaysia. Fan articles were sold everywhere on the streets and the shops had already closed their shutters at 6 o'clock.
After a walk in Hanoi, we also went to watch the game.
Vietnam won and the whole city celebrated. People danced, drank, and honked on the streets (that's always part of it here ☺️).
The next day, we explored the city a bit.
