17th day short summary in Narita

Plastic food in the restaurant windows

Weird snacks

Instead of sandwiches or similar, every small supermarket has filled rice in a nori leaf for when you're a little hungry

Drink vending machines on almost every street corner

Sometimes the food is too beautiful to eat

Ticket machine in the subway/train

Here you have to put your ticket through (insert it in the slot at the front and the ticket comes out at the back or not) if you want to go to the platform, but also when you leave

Queue markings at the train station

Everyone, even the sumo wrestlers, abide by them

Sometimes there are gates too

You are asked to consider others on the train - everyone also follows that

Cars here are very compact, most of them are electric or hybrid vehicles, that's why the traffic here is really much quieter

Even the fire department has small cars

Electronic toilets

Many functions - sounds, bidet, air freshener and also the flush!!!

A little explanation - the traditional toilet here is a hole in the ground

In the drugstore there are different mouth masks, but not many people wear them

Mouth tape for snoring - I still find it very practical

There isn't much to report about Narita, but there have been many things in the last 17 days that I have been amazed by, that have surprised me, that I found strange, and some that just made me laugh. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. The backpacks are packed now. Tomorrow there will be rice for breakfast again and then it's time to head home.
