Tag 45 and 46 Sunday, 21st February 2016 Yangon

Mingalaba,

today we set off towards the airport leaving Vietnam behind with the goal of Myanmar. We of course took the city bus with line 152 and were able to save travel costs again here.

Actually, I should be happy to finally return to the golden land lined with temples and pagodas. Unfortunately, I am less lucky today thanks to the delicious ice cream café yesterday at the bus station.

I have survived India unscathed and here I make this silly mistake. This must of course be punished with multiple trips to the toilet. But what can stop me so quickly, it still goes on, yes it must continue looking forward to happiness.

Well today I just took it a bit slower, so I checked into my Yangon hotel and took it easy, spending the rest of the day in bed. Only in the evening I had to muster the energy to return to the Shwedagon Pagoda once again. I still find it so stunningly impressive, what an incredible structure.
