Day 4 from Haarlem to Alkmaar

Day 4 had a few small challenges... the tour went from Haarlem to Alkmaar. Unfortunately, the weather forecast for that day was very poor and with a 50% chance of rain and a lot of wind, it wasn't a good idea. But no matter, the 50 km had to be covered. The plan was to drive along the coast in the nature reserve like the day before. Unfortunately, there was a closure due to flooding and we had to change our plans. But with the satnav, it was no problem and we arrived in Alkmaar with a short break from the rain. After checking in at the former prison, we went to a beautiful city. I think Alkmaar exceeded our expectations (see pictures). After delicious beer, pizza and wine, we went back to the hotel and what did we have???? Beer and wine😁🤘
