Washing On the Go

Since my first trip to Africa in 2015, I have been washing my clothes on the go in a small bucket (e.g. wine cooler ;) ) or in my folding sink. My washing style has often led to laughter from local women, as lots of foam is required for washing here in Africa. However, I try to use as little detergent as possible and produce minimal foam... The ladies said that my washing style is very European, whatever that means :).

Now our laundry is drying on the balcony of today's lodge and we are enjoying a refreshing drink at the bar before going for an evening walk 😊.
