Day 9 - 30.07.2023 Hike from Podcetrtek to STOLP Rudnica Viewing Tower

We decided to visit the STOLP Rudnica viewing tower. According to research, it was supposed to be an easy hike of about 1 hour from the tourist information in Podcetrtek. However, the path was difficult and uphill the whole time. The kids were not very excited and it was also exhausting for us in the heat. At some point, Juliane just wanted to go back...

So Martin and Jette continued towards the tower and I slowly walked downhill with Juliane, taking breaks. We covered about 5 km, the other two a total of 10 km. Although it was only about 800 m from the point where we turned around.... strange....

In the end, we enjoyed a delicious ice cream before heading back and spent nearly an hour at the Summer Riviera until the thunderstorm arrived.
