After breakfast - and repeatedly trying to find a free slot in the washing machine - we made our way to the Unterstell cable car, which we reached after a short walk. Once we reached the top, the children explored the playground. We had originally planned to do a 'supposedly' buggy-friendly hike, which turned out to be rather buggy-unfriendly (probably Martin misread...). So we quickly brought the stroller back to the cable car station and set off without it - towards the Meraner Höhenweg (hiking trail 24 or 24B). After a short time, we reached the viewpoint and had a great view over Naturns, the Etsch river, and other villages and of course the mountains. The children also loved the landscape. Since we had to carry Juliane quite a bit, we only went as far as Galmein 1384 m and took a break there. Unfortunately, there was no ice cream for sale as promised - but with a view of the swimming pool in the hotel, we were able to motivate the children for the return trip, which went back via Innerforch 1470 m. Juliane walked quite well for parts of the hike, but in the end she fell asleep while being carried... we should have brought the backpack carrier after all ;-)
