After completing all the formalities at "Locaboat", this beautiful and brand new houseboat was explained to us in a mix of English and French! 😅!
The "test drive" went smoothly and then suddenly, after the first lock, he was gone "Monsieur le instructeur" - simply staying ashore in the lock and waving goodbye to us friendly!
In conclusion, since we were not prepared for him to leave us in the middle of the trip, we were now on our own - and had no bicycles on board!
It didn't matter, our adventure began!
