Pole position reached

Only a few hours separate us now from the start of our journey.

Suitcases are laboriously packed and crammed full. Tetris at the highest level. Our self-set to-do's are done. But that it is actually happening is still not tangible.

We have spent weeks, months planning this adventure. Successfully applied for the ESTA, spent hours searching for hotels, flights, and rental cars, carefully planned the travel route, and secured ourselves against all eventualities.
