Soon at our destination

We are getting closer to our destination Plovdiv. About 3 hours left. After some initial confusion about which platform the train was on, we managed to find the right one thanks to asking multiple times.

We are sitting in a nearly empty former DB train. The Bulgarian railway has purchased 76 used passenger cars from DB for 15.6 million. Wow, now we’re also sharing knowledge.

The journey is still not speeding up; we are gliding leisurely through the countryside.
