Armenian farmers harvest walnuts by throwing sticks into the trees. We chatted a bit about the Russian language, exchanged walnuts for some Rittersport chocolate and set off on our journey after breakfast. Now it's not far to the superlative Wings of Tatev cable car. It crosses the huge Worotan Gorge over 5.7 km with only 3 supports, built by Doppelmayer. On the other side, the Tatev Monastery from the 9th century awaits us. The monastery is still in operation and is currently undergoing restoration. We're on our way back. We have lunch on the beautiful Worotan Pass. Then we go up again to well over 2000 m before we drive down to Lake Sevan, which is still at an altitude of 1900 m. Falk and Jonas immediately jump into the water, I hold back for now. Then we look for a restaurant and find a small restaurant hidden away. Here you can get the desired Sevan trout and Armenian cognac. We are happy and satisfied and can spend the night on the premises of the restaurant. 5689km
