QVM and Bondi Beach

Congratulations Max!!!!!

Today we explored the venerable Queen Victoria Market (QVM) and then drove to Bondi Beach.

The QVM has an outstandingly beautiful exterior and interior design.

Basically, it is a mall in which all well-known fashion designers have their stores and some of the offerings are tailored more towards Australian and Asian customers. In general, it is noticeable that Asians clearly dominate the street scene in Sydney.

On Bondi Beach, despite cloud cover, wind and sometimes showers, water sports enthusiasts (surfers, kayakers, bathers) were well represented.

We had a delicious dinner at the local Bondi Icebergs Club, a special swimming club in Sydney that has a swimming pool that borders the sea and is frequently refilled with sea water by the surf.
