Crooked Gables

The last day of my journey took me to Lüneburg. Here, the people were apparently very wealthy and built with white gold. There are many gables in the streets that are crooked and slanted. You have to see it. There were also many beautiful corners to discover and I got wet while hopping around. What fun, the Ilmenau river was almost a side note. I was impressed by the water tower. Just imagine, if it were full of water: my own pool 6 stories high above the roofs of the city. Here, like at the beginning of the journey, red brick everywhere.
