Icefield Parkway

We have another rainy day and unfortunately, due to the low clouds, we cannot see the entire panorama of the mountains and glaciers. Nevertheless, we continue towards Lake Louise. We see the Bridal Veil Falls and hike at the base of the Wilson Icefield.

Today we are camping at the Waterfowl Lakes. The camp host tells us that just last week there were ice floes floating on the lake. We can believe this without hesitation. Unfortunately, it is raining all day and we can only take short hikes or quickly cook dinner during the brief breaks.
