Due to the shortages of available campsites, we have temporarily moved to Banff and are going to less crowded campsites. I'm sorry to repeat myself, but we have persistent rain again, so we are also going to the museum. We explore the wildlife with the children and fill out an explorer booklet and receive a badge as a certified explorer at the end. The children are excited and it can also be recommended for sunny days.
But we also brave the rain and explore Banff. Back in civilization with lots of shops and delicacies. Beaver Tails are super sweet and yummy and a sweet snack to recommend for the next hikes.
In the evening, we briefly stop at Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake. Here we are back in nature. We cook in the general shelter and heat up the traditional oven so that we can dry ourselves and keep warm.
