Yesterday we flew from Mexico City to Puerto Escondido. We started our beach vacation with a nice walk on Zicatela Beach - the surfer's paradise - and admired our first Pacific sunset.
The next morning, we headed to the swimming beach - but Miguel, our tour guide, had other plans for us, so we only had an hour at the beach before our tour to Laguna de Chacahua started. On the way there, we marveled at the 6 trees in love, which somehow found their unknown way from Africa here, before taking the boat across the lagoon.
Right on time for sunset, we were up on the lighthouse and on the way back, we were even able to swim in the lagoon by moonlight - luckily there was no crocodile in sight as far as the eye could see.
