Tag 62 - Head to the Coast

I absolutely want to visit the turtles. The travel guides say that they come to lay eggs until January. On the website of the Nicaraguan Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, there is a calendar indicating the probable arrival days, until the end of January. Now I'm here in San Juan del Sur, near the beach where the Olive-Ridley turtles land by the thousands on certain days. And all the tour operators I've spoken to claim that this time is long gone. I would also love to see the little turtles hatch, after about 50 days in the sand, buried by the mama turtle. I'm not giving up yet.
