Silvana invited me. She accidentally booked a 3-bed room in San Juan del Sur, a former fishing village on the Pacific. She went there yesterday morning, but I still had duty in the project. Maggie had told me that she recently took 5 hours with the public buses. That's why I took a significantly more expensive, but air-conditioned minibus.
For many, this place is the starting point to drive to the beaches further north and south, which are supposed to be even more beautiful. That's why it's wonderfully quiet here. We missed the lunch shuttle bus, so we will visit Madera Beach tomorrow morning.
So today we were here at the beach. When I was in the water, I was touched by a jellyfish (probably). I had a feeling of a thousand stings, especially on my back. Slightly panicked, I quickly swam back. You can keep on breathing, I'm fine, the pain soon subsided and I can already eat solid and liquid food again.
I'm going to upload a few photos now so you can get an idea, and then I'll sleep off my Piña Colada Victoria Frost buzz.
