Bodensee 2015 - Over Meersburg back home

As so often, the weekend went by pretty quickly and so we had to go back home again. But in order to make the most of the day, we drove past Meersburg after checking out of the hotel. As you can see in the photos, the gloomy weather didn't want to disappear here either. We didn't let that deter us and started our tour of Meersburg.

We also passed by the castle, which gave the city its name. There was the possibility to visit the castle from the inside, but we contented ourselves with the view from the outside.

Later we had lunch and then started our journey home.

It was definitely good to get away again, even if it was just for the weekend. The weather could have been better, but at least it didn't rain, even though it often looked like it would. With short weekend trips, you can pass the time until the next vacation :)
