Palmas Market Halls

We start our day at the Mercat de l'Olivar. It is the largest of the three market halls and famous for fresh fish and seafood. Over 40 stands offer maritime specialties at affordable prices. From the huge fish hall, to a fruit and vegetable hall, to a meat and sausage hall, you can find everything your heart desires here. In the vegetable and meat hall, there are four bars where you can enjoy freshly prepared tapas.

Here, you don't know where to look first - the variety is overwhelming and you want to try everything.

Next, we go to the Mercat Santa Catalina, which is located in the former fishing village of Palma. The vendors here specialize in their products. Delicacies from the gastronomy industry are not only bought by tourists but also by locals - it's a colorful hustle and bustle here.
