Kühlschrank-Ausbau, 15.9.2018

Our suspicion was confirmed during the gas check. Unfortunately, the refrigerator no longer works with gas, only with electricity or the car battery. But even then, it doesn't cool down properly 😏.

So we asked for advice in the VW-Bus forum, from the experts at the VW-Bus workshop, and at the camping store for new refrigerators. Unfortunately, there are hardly any small refrigerators left that can still do a good job. In the end, we chose a compressor cooler box. It doesn't consume much electricity and keeps the drinks cool, even when it's over 30°C like it was this summer.

On Saturday afternoon, Berni removed the old refrigerator and installed a new cabinet. Now we have even more storage space 😝👍! In return, the self-made frame from our predecessor (or pre-predecessor 🤔?) will be removed from the sliding door. That's where our cooler box will now be placed... 😊
