Thinking ahead for everyone
Preparations for a seven-week trip through Canada by ship and then as a road trip with three children and a grandma

At 3:30 in the morning, we got up to be driven by Markus to Frankfurt Airport at 4 o'clock. That was incredibly kind of him, especially because it was his birthday that day. The flight went well, we arrived in New York City in the afternoon and checked into our ship. The rooms make a good impression on me.
In the early afternoon, we explored the downtown area, the Battery Park with the Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, and walked up and down the Broadway a bit. There are so many contrasts in New York. Incredible noise, lots of dirt, many people, many cars. In addition, incredibly rich and beautiful people next to beggars who have nothing to sleep and eat.
Completely exhausted, we went back to the ship in the evening to quickly grab a bite to eat and then sleep. Jet lag hit us hard after 24 hours of continuous activity. Amazing how the kids coped with it! Best regards and see you soon, Marvin and family.
