Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

Published: 03.06.2017

We arrived at the very central campsite at lunchtime. We quickly set everything up, we are becoming more organized and faster with that, and of course, we made something to eat for the little one and ourselves.

The most exciting part was splashing around in the pool together and in the evening, Jelto and I had a drink together and talked about what we could do today.

We slept relatively late, until 7:15 am, and then after breakfast, we set off to the city on our bikes. We strolled on foot and stumbled upon a cute little market, where we replenished our garlic supply and Jelto tried some cheese and pastries. Afterwards, we sat down in a cafe and enjoyed espresso and pain au chocolat. Per simply slept through it.

In the afternoon, we were back home and grilled some food, to later embark on a slightly longer bike ride, as it was a bit cloudy and we wanted to take advantage of that and explore the Provence region a bit.

We started along the road for a while and then gradually moved onto country paths, where we could enjoy the beautiful landscape.

In between, we had a little picnic, where Per could let off some steam and enjoyed a banana as always. On the way back, we got a little lost, but quickly found our way again. In total, we rode about 20km.
