The south-westernmost end

In the morning several rainbows greeted us on our drive to the Cape of Good Hope, if that isn't a good sign. It was very stormy, but only lightly drizzling as we climbed up to the lighthouse at Cape Horn. In Boulders Beach we marveled at penguins swimming in the Atlantic and taking an afternoon nap in the warm sand.

We ended the evening with a beer in the lobby and cheered with the South Africans at the Rugby World Cup against Ireland.
