Salento

Salento is not really spectacular, but it invites you to beautiful walks in the countryside. On my first day, I visited the nearby cloud forest and we received a small tour from the owner, who explained the different plant species as well as the differences between the forest and our European forests. On the second day, I explored the waterfalls on a horseback riding trip.

And on the third day, we went to Valle de Cocora to see the giant wax palm trees on a 4-hour hike.
