Upon my arrival in Mexico City, I was once again surprised by the many people. When I arrived at the hostel, I was already so exhausted that I just fell into bed. At breakfast, I met a Canadian with whom I explored the neighborhoods of Condesa and Roma.
The next day, we visited the Franz Mayer Museum, which surprised us with an exhibition by ETH Zurich. In the evening, we went to a wrestling match (Luchas), which was actually just for show and not that exciting.
The following day, an American joined us and we went to the Sun Pyramid. The pyramids were amazing and the museum showed various artifacts as well as Maya sacrifice rituals, which were very fascinating. In the evening, we attempted to watch the parade for Dia de Los Muertos, but we couldn't catch up after walking 4 kilometers, so we went back to the hostel.
Unfortunately, I caught a cold in the evening and it has been bothering me for two days now. I have been staying in the hostel, hoping to leave for Puebla tomorrow. However, I was able to befriend the very anxious hostel dog, who is very difficult to win over. But she already follows me everywhere when no one else is around whom she trusts more 😊
