With a stopover in Chiang Mai, Eva and I continued to the former hippie village of Pai. As usual, we arrived in Pai without any plans for accommodation and somehow had the right intuition, luck or whatever you want to call it :) so we were able to rent a green house just outside on a hill. We had a great view of the garlic fields in front of us, the white Buddha in the other direction on the slope, and also a kitchen and free access to the garden, including herbs and papaya tree (!!!). We spent our days in Pai very relaxed, cooking, learning Thai, strolling, drinking coffee, chatting and of course exploring the surroundings (hot springs, canyon, waterfalls).
