Famliy time, Halong Bay & Cat Ba Island

Joyful reunion after more than a year :)

We explored the vibrant capital of Vietnam together.



After a few days in Hanoi and a reunion with Liz, Rudolf, Ansgar and I booked a tour to the world-famous Halong Bay with an overnight stay on the ship and one on Cat Ba Island. Also included was a visit to Ti-Top Island, a cave, kayaking & a hike in Cat Ba National Park.

After this fun trip for three, Ansgar and I traveled back to Hanoi and Rudolf went to Ninh Binh.
I met Liz again a few days later in Saigon, from where we took a bus to Cambodia/Phnom Phen and then to Battambang for Vipassana Meditation, which started at the end of January.
(Rudolf and Ansgar traveled from North to South Vietnam during this time)
