San Francisco - A view from Treasure Island

Back from Alcatraz at the harbor, I was really thirsty. So I bought a bottle of Coke Zero. Or so I thought. Because when I had it in my hand, I realized: It's not a bottle - it's a can :-)

Yeah, yeah. The girl from the village in the big wide world ;-)

In my Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus ticket there was also a Night Tour included. But it already started at 6.30pm and it was far from night yet. A bit of a shame.

We went all over the city again and towards the end we crossed the Oakland Bay Bridge to Treasure Island.

Since I already knew from the previous round on the bus, that there's quite a 'fresh breeze' up there, I was prepared. Wrapped a scarf around and put a cuddly jacket on over my leather jacket... But that didn't help at all. During the ride on the bridge on the open bus I almost flew away and afterwards I was absolutely frozen :D

By the way, my hairstyle was also ruined ;-)

But it was totally worth it. Meanwhile, the sun had set and Alcatraz was covered in fog...

...and from Treasure Island you could enjoy a beautiful view of the city and its skyline.

After that I could take the bus back to Union Square. From there, it was only a few minutes walk to my hotel.
