Day 8: Zwentendorf - Vienna

The day started grey today. After about 15 km of driving, the light but steady rain started. After about 35 km, I stopped at a kebab shop that had a covered outdoor area. I wanted to drink a coffee and dry myself off a bit. A group from a cruise ship had the same idea, it felt like the whole outdoor area was full. At a shop next door, one of the ladies bought dry socks for the whole group. I found the situation so funny that I had to take a picture of it. (@Datenschutz-D: What do you think?)

After a little more than 50km I reached Maren's apartment and was warmly welcomed. After a hot shower I am now sitting in the living room with a coffee and will go into town later. A bit of sightseeing!
