the oldest German village in Australia

Hahndorf, the oldest German village in Australia. As soon as you drive into the village, you can already see a large sign saying 'Hahndorf, the oldest German village in Australia'..and next to it, a nursing home ;-D. Of course, we had to take a break here. A cute little village with 'German' bakeries, where you can actually find pretzels again and even small German shops. Australia must only have Munich and Oktoberfest in mind when it comes to Germany, because most of the things you can get in the small shops can be attributed to Munich. Apart from that, painted tiles and cuckoo clocks are sold at a high price, a cuckoo clock costs at least $2900!
