19.09.2016 Ayers Rock from above

After almost 1.5 years, we finally made it to Uluru. Unfortunately, you can't camp for free around here and we had to stay at the overpriced resort. It's unbelievable how much has been built around here... there's even a shopping center! The fuel wasn't as expensive as we had always heard. $1.76 per liter was okay. However, during the summer and peak season, prices can easily go up to $2.50 per liter. As a comparison, we last refilled in Adelaide for around $1 per liter. Somehow, we're very late today.
