Backpacker... and Cape Byron
Byron Bay was quite nice and located on the coast. The city center was small but lovely, but also overcrowded with backpackers. We already felt like we were in Germany, as we didn't hear anyone speaking English anymore, only German. We did an 8 km walk at Cape Byron, which led over the cliffs and along the coast. The walk was really beautiful and totally worth it despite the scorching heat.
