Gronau
The first stop was our friend Marie's apartment in Gronau -we went to the university in Enschede with her for a day. From her room, you can see a meadow with fluffy cows.

In Hamburg, we stayed in a very cool shared apartment, visited St. Pauli and the harbor, and explored an old Russian submarine and the Rickmer Rickmers (a sailing ship).
The (more aggressive) seagulls have displaced the pigeons here.
