Speaking of the shower, after two days of use it was so leaky that the repairman had to be called again, who was then able to take Dietmar to acupuncture (he already knew it) on the way to the spare parts store. The water was turned off during this time, which in turn caused great displeasure among the awakening youth. All in all a “successful” morning.
But a day that starts like this can only get better and... it got better. We received postcard motifs.
We scrambled close to the rocks to get to the bay where our path to the lighthouse began... 1h + 2.5h of lighthouse there and + 1h of scrambling back = Stop, wait a minute! What does the ebb and flow actually look like here? Are we coming back in 3 hours? = If necessary we swim. = It's clear, the cell phone in the outstretched hand, against the current, over several kilometers ... = Ironman-like. I was out. So Paul had to inform himself and then me about the Guaymas tide schedule and we were lucky enough to have the time and set off. A beautiful hike along a dry riverbed, following the telephone poles, in wonderful summer weather and wind. The journey was the goal, the lighthouse wasn't worth it.
Paul has become a great navigator and scout, as well as a chef. I can sit back and read, provide ideas and plans and Paul brings them to life - very pleasant. :-)
