Geysers and Maori

Tauranga and its surroundings was our destination today. We drove along endless kiwi plantations to the geysers. It was very hot and smelled of sulfur from a distance.

After that, we visited a cultural center for Maori culture. The government is doing a lot to preserve it. The knowledge is not allowed to be passed on in writing, only orally or in carved images.

Finally, we went to an endless beach that is comparable to those in the South Seas.

Oh New Zealand, why aren't you closer to Germany...
