Some men are destined never to leave Alcatraz......I mean alive...

Today we went on a tour to Alcatraz. It was very windy and also oppressive there. We are glad we don't have to stay there. We took an audio tour of the prison, where eyewitnesses told their stories about this prison. It was very interesting, especially the stories about the different escape attempts. But we were glad to have only been guests there. Being incarcerated was anything but nice.

The prisoners back then rarely or never got to see the view, but it is simply gigantic. You can oversee the entire city/Golden Gate Bridge.
