2nd day in Tokyo

We spent the morning in Tsukiji at the fish market, having a Japanese breakfast and exploring.

Afterwards, some of the group headed towards the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater. We had the chance to enjoy a concert by the unique Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra! A unforgettable moment of beautiful music.

For dinner, an oboist and a flutist from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Band joined us. We met them in the summer of 2016 thanks to their participation in the Basel Tattoo.

Tokyo is fascinating; impressive buildings, interesting culture, no hustle and bustle despite the large crowds, and we benefit from our amazing personal tour guide, Miyuki!
