Today we went to Melide from where it's only 51 km to Santiago de Compostela... only two days and the rest of today... you can also mentally feel that the journey is slowly coming to an end. I am looking forward to arriving in Santiago on my birthday!!

In general, it was a very short stage today with about 15 km. So I could sleep longer and didn't have to walk with the masses...

but what I noticed in the morning was the masses of suitcases that were picked up from my hostel... is it still pilgrimage or already tourism??

Galicia is really beautiful, both in terms of landscape and otherwise, with eucalyptus trees and forests that smell wonderful...

Here in this region, it's also typical to eat poulo as a squid... everyone to their own taste...

So that's it for today... tomorrow another 14 km and then I will be almost in Santiago...
