Next transfer, Thunder Bay - Winnipeg. Breakfast is modest, so we decided to have breakfast at Tim Hortons on the way. Really good and cheap.
We made a stop at a really beautiful lake on the way.
It happens that the Porsche, with its stupid speed limit, slows down traffic.
The view in the rearview mirror usually looks like this!
The landscape is pretty limited on this crossing.
Melli at least had fun on another break and finally met a moose.
Arrived in Winnipeg, we first enjoyed the view from the 12th floor.
Hungry, we walked down the street looking for a restaurant. But somehow it was different and weird here. There were many Indo-Americans out and about, either begging or stumbling drunk through the streets. Groups of women were loud and laughing, guys were not someone you wanted to meet alone at night (or even during the day). Because ALL of us had an uncomfortable feeling, we decided to give up the restaurant search after one block and go to Boston Pizza across from the hotel. Good food,
As a nightcap, a pitcher of Sangria and one with white wine or something. Jacob liked it.
Off to bed, tomorrow to Regina; pronounced 'reedschainah'.
