Day 20: Paihia & Russell

Today I don't have big plans. Since my hotel in Russell is very remote, I decide to take the ferry from Paihia to Russell today. There I will do the Russell Heritage Trail, which leads me to some historical places in the village. I will also hike up Flagstaff Hill, which offers a beautiful view of the Bay of Islands. From here, you can also see Paihia. After spending some time in Russell, I will return to Paihia and have lunch. For dessert, I will have Hokey Pokey ice cream, which is vanilla cream with golden nuggets. It's really delicious. Then I will take some time out to watch Netflix. Today is really not an exciting day. Then it's time for dinner. After that, I will watch Netflix again and go to bed. Not a very thrilling day.

For today I don't have big plans. Cause my hotel in Russell is somewhere out in the woods, I decide to take the ferry from Paihia to Russell. There I am doing the Russell Heritage Trail. It guides you to some historical places of the village. I also climb up the Flagstaff Hill. From here, you have a beautiful view over the bay of islands. Paihia is visible as well. After walking through Russell for a while, I return to Paihia and cook lunch. As a dessert I am getting myself a Hokey Pokey ice cream. It's a vanilla cream with golden nuggets in it. It's very delicious. After that, I am getting some rest and watch Netflix. Today is really not an interesting day. The time has passed and it's already time for dinner. After that I continue watching Netflix and go to bed. It REALLY wasn't an interesting day.
