Hello everyone,
Last weekend, I left Finland again. On Thursday evening, we took the train to Helsinki. After spending a night at the airport, we flew to Oslo early on Friday morning.
Oslo is a very beautiful city by the sea. But as beautiful as it is, it is also expensive! This city has definitely proven to be one of the most expensive cities in the world! And so is the appearance and behavior of the residents: very chic and fancy. However, despite the typical Nordic nature (shyness, etc.), the people are very friendly and helpful!
In addition to the typical sights of the city such as City Hall, Parliament, and so on, we also explored the nightlife. Also, the Christmas market was already open. One of the most beautiful I have ever seen! Due to Oslo's wealth, there is currently a lot of construction going on and some buildings have already been completed. These neighborhoods have an architecture that is definitely worth seeing!
All in all, we had a great time and spent a lot of money. So if anyone has too much money, just go to Oslo ;)
I arrived safely back in Tampere and this week I will focus more on the university.
Take care! See you soon,
Carina
