29.06./30.06.2018 - heading home

Today is the return flight to Munich. Since the departure was not until 18:25, we could start the day completely relaxed.

At 12 o'clock, Steve picked us up at the hotel and we drove to Stevenston, a nice district right by the sea. The town used to be a well-known fishing village and somehow it felt like time had stood still there. Today you can start whale watching tours from there, among other things. We had lunch together in a nice restaurant, strolled around a bit and then Steve took us to the airport.

The flight left on time and fortunately it was a peaceful flight. Nevertheless, we were glad when we arrived in Munich because if you can't sleep, a 10-hour flight is really long. Now we have to take the S-Bahn and train back to Ehingen. When we arrived home at 8 p.m., we were also glad that we finally made it. We're tired, but we still enjoy a beer from Ulrich and then go to bed.

Conclusion: a nice vacation comes to an end, but it's also nice to be back home.
